Steelers sign Connor Heyward, Mark Robinson, Chris Oladokun to rookie contracts

Three more draft picks have signed four-year rookie contracts with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Sixth-round pick Connor Heyward and both seven-rounders, Mark Robinson and Chris Oladokun, signed their deals Saturday.

All three players signed while attending the team’s rookie minicamp at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.

Second-round draft pick George Pickens signed his four-year contract Friday. Draft picks remaining to be signed are first-rounder Kenny Pickett, third-rounder DeMarvin Leal and fourth-rounder Calvin Austin III.

Heyward, the younger brother of defensive captain Cameron Heyward, was signed as a tight end but he finished his career at Michigan State as a fullback and is expected to compete with Derek Watt for a roster spot.

Robinson, a linebacker from Ole Miss, is a converted running back. Oladokun spent his senior year at South Dakota State where he made 15 starts and helped lead his team to the FCS national semifinals. He previously attended Samford and South Florida.
