Australian Survivor: Blood V Water premiere date is finally announced as former contestants and US winner Sandra Diaz-Twine are confirmed to compete in the explosive new season










The premiere date for the newest season of Survivor, Blood V Water, has been revealed in the latest teaser trailer for 10’s hit reality series. 

It’s revealed in the short clip posted to the show’s Instagram page that Blood V Water will being airing from the 31st of January.

The teaser shows series host Jonathan LaPaglia walking up and looking at the camera with a serious expression as the premiere date is highlighted on the screen.

‘The date is set,’ the Instagram caption read. ‘#SurvivorAU Starts JAN 31 on 10 and 10 play on demand.’

Fans of the franchise revealed their excitement in the comments section of the post. 

‘Can’t wait, best show on TV,’ wrote one follower.

‘Can’t wait to see all the blindsides and challenges, gonna (sic) be awesome!,’ added another.

Former Australian Survivor star Felicity ‘Flick’ Egginton also commented on the post, writing, ‘Can’t wait to see some big blindsides.’   

Survivor: Blood vs Water will have 24 former castaways playing with – and against – their loved ones. 

This concept has already been used twice before in the US franchise – in 2013 with the titular Survivor: Blood vs Water, and again in 2014 with Survivor: San Juan del Sur.

The series will take place at Charters Towers in north Queensland, inland of Townsville.
